It is my privilege to submit the 2018 Riverside County Agricultural Production Report. This report is produced in
accordance with Section 2279 of the California Food and Agricultural Code, and summarizes the acreage,
production and valuation of our County’s agricultural commodities.

The Private Applicator Certification (PAC) examination is available in both English and Spanish. The only part of the Spanish examination written in English is the pesticide label. Federal law requires all certified applicators to be able to read and understand the registered labeling. In the United States most pesticide labels are only written in English.

All growers of industrial hemp for commercial purposes must register with the County Agricultural Commissioner prior to cultivation. Registration is NOW available.
